has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation.
2 Corinthians 5:17-19
Another year begins, and we begin our journey once again to achieve new and better things in our lives.Have you asked God what His plans are for you this year? Are you seeking His will or yours this year? Wondering why God’s not answering? Have you accepted Jesus as your Savior? Do you trust God’s way? Have you already headed your own way? Is God’s way option A or B in your life? Let this year be different from all others, let God guide you in all your ways. Don’t begin your journey alone without Jesus Christ. If you desire a relationship with God, your Heavenly Father, you must accept His Son, Jesus as your Savior. If you would like to accept Jesus as your Savior, and not sure what to do, you can say this prayer:
Jesus, I know my ways are wrong and ask you to be my Savior and the only Way to God. God, please forgive me for all my sins; I believe that you alone are God, and sent your Son, Jesus, to save me by dying on the cross for my sins and to show me the way to live as your child. Your Son, Jesus, defeated all sin and death by His Resurrection on the 3rd day after his death. I love you God and choose your ways, not mine, and desire to follow you with all my heart, mind, body, and soul. Teach me your ways O’ Lord, and purify me from all unrighteousness by your Holy Spirit. Help me to love you and all people Your way, not the world’s way. God, may your pure love dwell in me, and may my
life be pleasing to you in all I do by faith in your Son, Christ Jesus. Thank you, God. Amen.
If you are not sure you understand everything that’s ok. You have just taken the first step to your new life with God by faith in Jesus Christ. Only you and God know your heart. If your heart is sincere then God will give you His Holy Spirit to teach you and guide you. *Please note: This does not mean you will be perfect—nor will every day be easy, but you believe in Jesus Christ, desire to live God’s ways, and will seek to live a life as best you can to live His way. Start each day by spending time with God in prayer and by reading your bible. Not sure where to begin? Look up the sciptures you read on my blog posts and read them from your bible. Also 1 John 4: 7-21, Genesis Chapters 1 & , Luke Chapters 1 & 2, and Galatians 5:16-26. (a number before : is a chapter--numbers after : are verses)
May this new year bring you God’s love & the fruit of His Spirit on your life’s journey as you walk with God with every breath, allowing Him to lead the way. Happy New Year!
